Miles this week: 6.09 over three runs.

How I felt: I feel better this week. My calf seems to be improving. I just need to concentrate on getting out and not so much worrying about details. I do need to pencil in another race. I think I need a 5K and then the HRDC 10K Turkey Trot is a good plan.

The dogs this week helped out a lot except today. On our return leg Pebbles saw something on the side of the trail and decided to take off after it. I was at the end of a 45 second run block and she about turned me around. She seemed to give Sonja even more trouble on a one hour run yesterday. So I guess she behaves better for me.

This week I also started looking for and talking to some running coaches. I am attempting to dial in my plan. I have a meeting with another coach this week. He happens to also be a PT and certified gait analyst. So I hope the combination can help out a lot. I plan to start using a coach around the first of the year as I prep for my first half marathon in March.
